Cabana Rehab Interiors is a Los Gatos, California based full service Interior Design firm that specializes in ground-up new construction, large-scale remodels and creating warm inviting spaces with furniture and styling.
We are looking for a creative and resilient self-starter who has the ability to persevere through tough projects and laugh off the small stuff. We are a highly collaborative studio and we work at a fast pace, juggling multiple projects of different sizes and scopes. We commit to offering our clients an excellent level of service and communication and we expect the same out of everyone who joins our team.
Interior Designer
The role of Senior Designer will be responsible for collaborating on the design of projects from pre-design and development, through construction administration and management of installation. You will often lead project design efforts, client interactions, and presentations. You will possess strong leadership and team building skills to see projects through completion in a timely manner. You will work collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members to deliver projects.
Responsibilities & Duties

Be a design team leader through all phases of the design process

Have strong communication and time management skills

Set pre-design inspirations for project palette, and provide directions to the team for development

Manage overall vision and style direction, through design development, product specification, fabrication and installation

Prepare construction documents related to all phases of each project

Execute project designs within budget to maximum client satisfaction and optimal company margins

Contribute to overall operations, including but not limited to: the development of new inspirations for custom furnishings and construction details
Qualifications

AutoCAD & Sketchup: 3 years (REQUIRED)

Must be detail oriented

Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors.

Must have a reliable car with a valid drivers license

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Excellent knowledge of applications such as Google Drive, Word, and Excel.

Interior design experience: 3-5 years
